Our *fab* friends "Team Austria" were married yesterday, so as a token of our love for them and to celebrate their special day I painted this picture for them.

We have recently been entertaining the idea of using a dummy with Little P for the "unsettled" periods, and after asking around at my Mothers Group a few suggested the NUK brand of dummies.

So thinking that a personal recommendation is better than just a random selection I set out to buy a NUK dummy, but after trying 3 chemists I returned home empty handed. Turning to the ever-trusty Internet I thought that a more efficient way to find where I could buy a NUK dummy from was to find a list of suppliers… but instead what I found was very ALARMING…

My latest "softie" is a bunny made for my dear friends P & T to celebrate the birth of their first child.

The pattern was taken from the Japanese craft book: Holding close - animals to sew. Although the book is entirely written in Japanese it has very clear diagrams, so it wasn't too hard to follow. …the only point of confusion was with the numbering for which pattern pieces to use, they had the wrong page and pattern pieces numbered, but once you actually look at all of the pattern pieces it is pretty easy to see which ones are needed.

Below is a story made by Larry and Little P for my first Mothers Day present... it is *priceless* and something that I will certainly remember always, I couldn't stop laughing ;-)

Its fair to say that the majority of pregnancy/baby websites out there are strongly targeted towards Mum's and poor old Dad just doesn't get any love… well fear not, because the guys at NooDad are here to save the day for all the Daddy-O's out there, in a very *bent* dad-friendly way :)

- The Noodad Breastfeeding Dictionary... Your wife's boobs will fill up with milk after the baby is born. This will cause them to be huge (I'm talking Tera Patrick huge) and incredibly sensitive. Do not dare make contact with them or even look at them. Imagine getting kicked in the nuts and then jumping on a trampoline. That's the pain your wife will have.
